Join me in the studio at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum for MADONNA x MADONNA themed Third Thursday.  After the you collaborate on a large scale artwork , grab a drink, strike a pose and explore the museum after hours!  Here are some of the fun activities you can expect during the evening...

Hands-On Art-Making
Strike your best Madonna pose and contribute your portrait to a collaborative artwork. Work alongside artist, curator, and designer Olivia Ives-Flores to explore the symbiotic relationship between artists, collectors and audiences during this hands-on interactive workshop. Participants will receive a memento of the final collaborative artwork.

Music by DJ DayGlow
DJ DayGlow has created an all vinyl set for the courtyard inspired by divas and femmes. A blend of mainstream and underground electronic music from the past and future: Madonna, Kate Bush, Prince, Lizzy Mercier Descloux, and Grace Jones.

Gallery Perspectives with Black Venus
Boston-bred performance artist, Black Venus, will facilitate engaging discussions surrounding the Gardner's latest exhibition, focused on The Annunciation. They will pull from the theme Madonna/Madonna as well as their own performance work to explore the value in centering and empowering femininity.
